Scott Horner is the President of GLIC Electrical and holds a Contractor’s License in the State of Ohio and State of Michigan. In addition, he holds a Michigan Masters, ISA level 1 certification, as well as a fire alarm license for the State of Ohio. After completing the IBEW Joint Apprenticeship Training, Scott quickly advanced in his career, working with RMF Nooter (where his grandfather was once the President) as a project manager. From RMF he moved on to Industrial Power Systems as the Vice President. Taking command of the electrical division, Scott started by focusing on his customers’ needs allowing him to employ more electricians for the successful completion of many high-profile jobs.
Wanting to carry on the legacy of leadership instilled in him by his father and grandfather, Scott formed GLIC and began full operations in January 2020. He wants GLIC to not just be an electrical company, but a multi-trade contractor by focusing on his customers and seeing every job, from start to finish. Scott is active in the community and takes special interest in “Sal’s Pals,” a cystic fibrosis foundation. He values and works hard to cultivate meaningful relationships with everyone around him and finds it extremely rewarding. When asked Scott says, “I enjoy the challenge of building a great team that excels in serving our clients and our community.”
